Ana Muñoz Lopera and Steve Stockermans are the builders and owners of the GREEN HOUSE. Ana is Spanish, a native of Logroño, and an artist. She designed and decorated the house and the furniture.
Ana is also a certified and experienced Spanish and English language teacher.

Steve is from Montreal, Canada and has lived and worked in many countries around the world as an economic journalist and a language teacher. He has always loved to work with his hands, and this house is the product of three years of work, together with Ana.

Now while Ana runs the B and B, Steve is building Canadian style wood frame houses in northern Spain.

They have five children, ages ten, eight, five and two and a new baby, Sara Mizuki.  The older boys, Christopher Tsubasa and Juan are born in Nagano, Japan. The family lived in this exciting place for eight years where they owned a small language school and worked actively in the Winter Olympics of 1998.
Desirée and Nico and Sara are born in Spain.

"When we decided to build a big house and make it into a B and B," explained Ana, "we wanted to build a place like the ones that we always loved to stay at."

And what kind of place is that?

"A friendly home, not just a hotel. A place where I could meet other people, not just the owners of the B and B, but the other guests. I want to talk and learn about the places other people come from and where they have been. That is my way of travelling now."
